Paragraph 23 of the General German Freight Forwarding Conditions (ADSp) limits legal liability for damaged goods pursuant § 431 of the HGB (German Commercial Code) for damages originating while in the custody of the forwarding company, to EUR 5,- per kilogram. For multimodal transports including maritime transport, liability is limited to 2 SDRs per kilogram and furthermore, to EUR 1,0 and/or 2,0 million or 2 special drawing rights (SDRs)/kg, per damage event, depending on which amount is higher.

Generally, we are not liable for private moving items.
